Our slot is on Saturday, July 25th at 8:00 PM, at the Skylark Lounge - and there is a great deal to be had:

For a limited time tickets will be only $10 at www.theums.com.  Starting tomorrow morning (Friday, June 5th) until Sunday evening (June 7th) your friends and fans can save HUGE! This offer will not be extended beyond Sunday, so please let everyone know as soon as you can.  That's just $10 for 4-days of music featuring some of Denver's very best talent, and artists from across the country and beyond... Make sure to remind your friends that they support you every time they buy a ticket at www.theums.com.  Artists get all the profits from ticket sales. Yay! Get your tickets early and save some cash - win-win deal!

Go check out Colorado Music Buzz's great review of the new KFAD LP, Ghost In The Slipstream here! Look under CD reviews - Alternative. Thanks Doug!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to our shows on Saturday - we were honored to play at the American Heart Association walk. It was great to see so many people out supporting such a great cause! And the Capitol Hill People's Fair was a blast! It was wonderful seeing so many friendly faces and hearing so many kind words. Special thanks to all of the volunteers who assisted us at the show, and VERY special thanks to the Denver police and fire personnel who helped out when Johnny locked his keys in his still running car...full of band equipment...only minutes before we had to be at the Fair! We couldn't have made it without your incredibly quick response and deft talents at getting cars open. Johnny the Idiot Dunce is forever in your debt!

We have planned a return to the D-Note in Arvada – one of the first places we played as a band! Joining us will be the Dave Boylan Band and the Hot Robots – make sure that August 7th is free on your calendar, as you will undoubtedly like to come out and share some pizza and beer (and music) with us that night!

One million thanks to Jake Schroeder, who played no fewer than SIX tracks from Ghost In The Slipstream on May 11th! His Mountain Homegrown Music Show on 99.5 The Mountain is truly an incredible listen each and every week - the time, effort and love he puts into it really shows, and we are honored to have him give KFAD such attention (as well as some VERY kind words). We can't wait to take him up on his offer to play in the studio - we'll let you know ASAP once details are finalized. Thanks Jake!

Thanks to KBCO, who played “Rise Above it All”, which is the lead-off music track on this years Bolder Boulder Bootleg CD compilation!

While we're handing out thanks, here are some for Goat and his Colorado Sound radio show! Goat played "Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before" from Ghost In The Slipstream. You can hear the show Saturdays at 5 PM on KRFC 88.9 FM in Fort Collins and 8 PM on KMPB 90.3 & 100.3 FM in Dillon and Silverthorne, as well as Sunday at 4 PM on KBUT 90.3 FM in Crested Butte, 89.9 FM in Gunnison and 94.9 FM in Almont. Thanks Goat!

Hey gang, pick up the latest issue of Westword, read about the Westword Music Showcase, and vote for KFAD in the Indie Pop category! Or, you can vote online.

The new CD, Ghost In The Slipstream, is available in our online store as well as our download page (as soon as possible). Let us know what you think of it!

If you enjoy a good whiskey (and who doesn’t?), try some Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey, distilled right here in Denver. And when you inevitably love it enough to buy yourself a bottle, look closely at the label – there is a limited run of customized KFAD labels out there…somewhere! We have no idea where they were distributed, and unfortunately weren’t able to snag a bottle for ourselves before they shipped, so if you see one and are willing to part with it, please let us know and we might be interested in making an offer. Or, best case scenario – let us know and we can all meet up and empty it together!

Our long awaited online store is finally up and running! Also check out our new band history, discography and links pages! Feel free to contact us and let us know what you think of the updates.

Note to everyone - due to some serious issues with the way SNOCAP runs their business (or doesn't...), all downloads are unavailable until we find an honest, competent company with which to work. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to remedy the situation very soon.

Simon has written a book!  Well, he’s always written loads o’lyrics – all of ours, for instance – and he’s compiled them into a lovely volume, along with pictures and original artwork.  Perfect for the KFAD collector and lyric lover alike!  Preview before you buy here.

KFAD performed "Here Comes Summer" live on Channel 4 Morning News on Sunday, July 6. If you slept through the actual broadcast, the video can be found here or here. Thanks to Megan for inviting us and the whole news crew for their hospitality!

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand...we've had hits from all of them! As well as 48 states and the District of Columbia. Thanks to everyone who has dropped by, whether you downloaded some songs, joined the mailing list, or just lurked about a bit. All are welcome here in the wonderful world of KFAD!
