KFAD performed Here Comes Summer live on Channel 4 Morning News on Sunday, July 6. If you slept through the actual broadcast, the video can be found here or here. Thanks to Megan for inviting us and the whole news crew for their hospitality!
We now enjoy something of a summer vacation - Simon will be doing some traveling, Johnny will be tending to his new baby, Vic will be taking full advantage of the quiet summer semester, and Goose will be goosing about as always. We'll be booking up some more gigs in August and September. And perhaps doing some recording...
Simon has written a book! Well, he’s always written loads o’lyrics – all of ours, for instance – and he’s compiled them into a lovely volume, along with pictures and original artwork. Perfect for the KFAD collector or the lyric lover. Check out the cover to the left <--- Preview before you buy here.
Thanks to Jake at 99.5 the Mountain's Homegrown Show for playing four tracks from Songs From The Neon Boneyard on June 16th!!! The show is excellent and the support is greatly appreciated!
Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the Netherlands
Norway, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, the UK...we've had hits from all of them! As well as 21 states and the District of Columbia. Thanks to everyone who has dropped by, whether you downloaded some songs, joined the mailing list, or just lurked about a bit. All are welcome here in the wonderful world of KFAD!
Speaking of downloading songs, all of our studio recordings are available to purchase here. Songs From the Neon Boneyard is also available at Amazon, as is Modernism. Mission Statement is available as downloads only.
KFAD's featured on the latest 99.5 The Mountain Homegrown CD! Vol. VI includes a lovely live performance of Here Come The Fabulous, recorded at the Soiled Dove. Be sure to pick up a copy of the CD at your local Car Toys store - it features a lot of great local bands, all of whom deserve to be heard. Plus, all proceeds go to the Denver Music in Schools Initiative - support music programs in our schools!
We're offering a groovy remix of Hope on our MySpace page! This is the first of a series of remixes, live tracks and surprises we'll make available exclusively on MySpace. Get 'em all and make your own personal bootlegs!
KFAD T-shirts and stickers and wristbands and CDs and stuff are available at shows or through your favorite KFAD representative. Make for great Independence Day gifts! Soon to be available online - we'll keep you informed.
