2010 rolls right along, and KFAD's got some good things coming up!  First, we'll be returning to the Old Curtis Street Bar on April 2. We'll share details as to the oher bands playing as soon as we have them!  Then, on May 7, we once again share the D-Note stage with our wonderful friends the New Ben Franklins and the Dave Boylan Band!  If you were there the last time, you know what a rocking night it was...and this one is set to beat it!  Why?  Because it will also provide for the release of our new CD, The Light Is On and Shining Brightly For the Masses!!!  Come pick one up for a special night-of-release price!

Thanks to all of you who were able to make it out to the 16th annual Maxfund Chili Cook-off.  Maxfund does some great work in assistance of our best friends - pets!  All of us in KFAD are big animal lovers, and we were honored to help out this important cause - apparently they raised over $5000 and were able to adopt out some VERY cute doggies!  Hopefully we can help out agan in the future!

Well, the final mixing has been completed, and the release of our latest EP The Light Is On and Shining Brightly For the Masses is near!  The songs were recorded with our friend Bryan at Uneven Studio, and we are very happy with the way they turned out - we hope you will be, too!  The CD release party details will be shared once we nail them down, but trust us, the show will be more than worth it!

2009 was quite a year…a new album release...our 5th Anniversary show at the Waterloo…our Loveland debut…slots at the Bolder Boulder, Capitol Hill People’s Fair and the Denver Post Underground Music Showcase…playing to help support the American Heart Association…a whole bunch of radio play…an appearance on Channel 2 the Deuce…an awesome show with old friends at the D-Note... and the beginning of our latest recording project! Thanks to all of you who have joined us for this incredible year - we love you and hope to see a lot more of you all in 2010!

His Mountain Homegrown Music Show on 99.5 The Mountain is truly an incredible listen each and every week - the time, effort and love he puts into it really shows, and we are honored to have him give KFAD such attention (as well as some VERY kind words). We have no idea where they were distributed, and unfortunately weren’t able to snag a bottle for ourselves before they shipped, so if you see one and are willing to part with it, please let us know and we might be interested in making an offer.
